What is the Paleolithic Diet?

The paleo diet is a modern nutrition plan based upon eating the way humans did during the Paleolithic era, long before artificial and processed goods. The Paleolithic era lasted for approximately 2.5 million years. Its end was marked by the introduction of agriculture 10,000 years ago.

What You Can Eat:

-fruits and vegetables

-lean meats and seafood

-nuts and eggs (sparingly if you are trying to loose weight)

What You Cannot Eat:

-Processed foods (including bread)

-Legumes

-Potatoes

Benefits:

-This diet allows you to maintain a healthy weight without having to count calories, and with a little creativity, you can still eat out at restaurants!

-The paleo diet helps you to maintain a steady blood sugar level throughout the day so that your energy is robust and sustained.
